Tutorial
The tool consists of the following basic areas of interaction:
Geographic Interest
- Allows you to select a county or municipality to automatically focus the map on. You can also use the search bar to find an address or place on the map.
Map Overlays
- The map overlay options on the left side of the map allow you to overlay different spatial data on the map for informational purposes. Data is broken out by category and uses drop-down menus to select the specific data variable. The transparency of the overlay can be controlled to more easily view base map features.
Data Query Tools
- The black toolbox on the top right of the map view allows you to overlay interactive geographic and public transit layers, perform custom selections, and access the Download/Report Tool. Features turned on can be clicked on the map to view more information about that feature. The selection tool allows you to select multiple features for a custom download or report.
Data Sources
- Information on the sources of data used in the tool and access to the map services for the spatial data utilized by the tool.
